HOME SWEET HOME!

Well as of last Friday we are the official owners of our dream home........................ there have been a few bumps in the first few days but nothing serious, the biggest thing was the the spa pump was never fitted off and I flooded our back yard when I tried to fill the spa!!!!! But I have been assured that I will have a motor fitted this week. Other than that I LOVE LOVE LOVE my beautiful home, the kids are rapt with their bedrooms and new queen size beds Mark and I are totally loving the ensuite and walk in robe and the poor kitty cat has only just come out from under our bed poor darling was sooooo freaked out by the move but she is all good now too.

Oh yeah did I mention that the pool is in????? It looks great but it will look better once the concrete is all done so we can use it, it is torture for the kids to look but ne be able to swim yet!!!! it will be about another week before it can be used.

I have to say that Metricon as company have been fantastic right throughout the build and even now after handover when I ring to get small issues fixed up they are more than happy to help out, we would highly recommend them to you all.

We can't wait to have all our wonderful family and friends over to show you all the place for real.

So today when I went by the house there were 3 ladies cleaning the windows and floors, so we MUST BE GETTING CLOSE!!!!!!!

Hello there lovely people, I thought that an update was in order as it has been while, In the last few weeks we have had our painter sacked for going AWOL, we have been burgled - down lights were the victims this time and the plaster was damaged at the same time.........................

However good things too are happening, the new painters have started and they are doing our feature walls the first coat went on yesterday ........... YES SUNDAY!!!!! they are so nice and are doing a wonderful job, the phone connection has been booked, the pool is going in next week the pavers have been bought for the front portico the driveway and paths have been sorted, the front fence is also under control so it is looking up up up for a date for handover very soon!

Stack Stone Saga!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

We have had DRAMA with our stack stone feature wall................. The tiler said he knew what he was doing ...................... YEAH RIGHT!!!! he had to smack it all off and start again the job was so bad!!!

But all's well that end's well it now looks great, I am so pleased with it, what do you think????

 

 now all we need is a fireplace to fill the hole!!!!

I am getting tired of waiting now I just want to go to sleep and wake up living in the house.

I felt bad after speaking to my dear friend Kirsty that I have been depriving you all of new pictures!!

After a long absence I'm back with updates, we have tiling all done in the bathrooms and the render finished in colour out the front and in the outdoor room.......................... and it looks AWESOME!!!

The damaged doors have all been replaced (painting still required but hey!!) and our site manager has sorted out all queries we have had so yet again well done Dale & the Metricon crew you rock!!

the wood boxes yet again in Gunmetal Beige the center bricks will be covered in stunning stone cladding in about 2 weeks and then the fireplace can go in........................YAY!!!!

And finally the rear wall of the outdoor room yep you guessed it in Gunmetal Beige and yep I still LOVE the colour!!!!!!

I can not wait for us to be able to call this dream place our home!!!

NEW PURCHASES!

Tile update & Render

Just a Quick one.......................... Here are our feature tiles and some piccies of our render its not painted yet but its up Yippee!!!!!!

After a long time with no progress at our new house, we have had work done this week.................................... YAY!!!!

The big news is that last weekend we bought our pool only to find out that the builders plumbers had a little bit of an oopsy and put all the sewer lines right where we notified them back last November that our pool was to be located but much to our delight Metricon as always has been AWESOME and are rectifying the plumbing issues for us by redirecting all the sewerage before handover, big stress avoided!!!! 

And today we popped past our beautiful, wonderful house to have a little look to find our tiling is all done in the kitchen, meals, family room, hallway, laundry, linen room, and bathroom. They are dirty from the grout but they look divine I am so happy with how they have come up as I must confess I was second guessing our choice that they may have been a little yellow............. But they look beautiful I can't wait to see them CLEAN!!!!

What a week, we were broken into (at the new house) and had our kitchen sink stolen, we then find out that the SH!T HEADS also stole our wonderful painters equipment, I am more sad and upset about the painters stuff than I am about our sink..................... He is such a lovely guy and he has been through so much, he lost everything in the black Saturday fires last year and is rebuilding to then have his stuff stolen from our house :(


But ........................................................ Karma will get the bad guys one day!!!!!!!!



On the up side though we have had our bench top installed last week and they look AWESOME!!!!!

MY SEXY  NOVA AURORA IN MY KITCHEN........................................Its a little hard to see but it has beautiful flecks of mirror in it and it SPARKLES ..................... I love sparkles!!!!!!!!!! Its like having diamonds allover my kitchen benches.................... I am totally in love with my benches!!
